THE first of a new generation of homeowners are starting to move into River View in Lydney, where Bluebell Homes is creating a thriving and sustainable new community.
Designed with how people want to live now and with the future in mind, River View offers quality homes alongside neighbourhood facilities. It’s a concept that’s captured the attention of Gloucestershire buyers, particularly first and second time buyers.
Properties were initially available off plan, ahead of a show home opening in the autumn.
Now, as work on site progresses, Bluebell Homes is welcoming the first residents to River View.
Bluebell Home sales manager Adele McCoy explains: “The first homeowners moving into River View is a major milestone for the development and we’re looking forward to helping them settle into their new homes. River View is already a popular choice but we expect that seeing that people have moved in will drive further demand. As more homes are built and occupied we’ll also be starting to develop the neighbourhood facilities that will help make this part of Lydney a thriving community where people will love living.”
Alongside new homes, River View will also feature play areas, exercise equipment and allotments, cycle hire facilities, CCTV and Wi-Fi hotspots.
“Digital connectivity is increasingly part of our everyday lives and so at River View we’ll be providing Wi-Fi hotspots,” Adele adds.
“It’s small touches like this that can make a big difference to people’s lives and set us apart from other homebuilders.”
For those hoping to join the new community at River View, Bluebell Homes currently has a choice of three and four-bedroom homes available, priced from £220,000. Additional two-bedroom homes will soon be released for sale.
Help to Buy equity loans are available, offering buyers the chance to secure a new home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.
As the development name suggests, River View is perfectly placed to enable residents to enjoy panoramic views over the Severn estuary.
The historical town of Lydney is known as the gateway to the Forest of Dean and is around 10 miles from Chepstow and the M4. It is well served by a choice of schools and benefits from a wide range of shops and amenities too.
Located on Highfield Road, the sales centre and four-bedroom Carcroft show home at River View are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
